NM-Gov: New Poll Has Michelle Lujan Grisham (D) Beating Steve Pearce (R) 50-42

Some good news today out of New Mexico:

A new poll is shedding some insight into high-stakes races in New Mexico.

The Carroll Poll, by Carroll Strategies in Albuquerque, shows Michelle Lujan Grisham leading Republican Steve Pearce.

According to the poll, Lujan Grisham has 50.5 percent support, while Pearce has 42.7 percent support.

Tom Carroll, the President of Carroll Strategies, said 1,199 people were polled. He estimates the margin of error to be 2.8 percent. But the Pearce camp has a few complaints about that methodology.

The poll also showed the Blue Wave is coming to New Mexico:

U.S. Senate:

Democrat Martin Heinrich – 49.8%

Republican Mick Rich – 39.3%

Libertarian Aubrey Dunn – 5.3%

Undecided – 5.7%

U.S. Congress CD 1:

Democrat Debra Haaland – 47%

Republican Janice Arnold-Jones – 42.7%

Libertarian Lloyd Princeton – 3.6%

Undecided – 6.7%

U.S. Congress CD 2:

Democrat Xochitl Torres Small – 34.7%

Republican Yvette Harrell – 48.5%

Undecided – 16.8%

U.S. Congress CD 3:

Democrat Ben Ray Lujan – 58%

Republcan Jerald Steve McFall – 30%

Libertarian Christopher Mannin – 4.7%

Undecided – 7.2%
