Tr*ump Bragged He Had “the guts to approve that final leg” of the DAPL – “I just closed my eyes”

I want justice for what Tr*mp has done to land and to tribes he affected by his rampant ignorance and malice.

“Nobody thought any politician would have the guts to approve that final leg and I just closed my eyes and said ‘Do It,'” Trump said on the banks of the Ohio River as he mimed the signing of papers to approve the $3.8 billion crude oil pipeline.

“Think of it [from] a company standpoint — they build this massive pipeline, going for miles, then they have to hook it up, a little section, and they’re stuck,” Trump said.

“I said, ‘That’s not fair,'” Trump added.

Justice is not entirely served by merely giving fines for: waitingtoo long — 10 days to be exact — to notify the state after stone cairns and other artifacts were uncovered at a construction site last October;” “removal of trees and shrubs along another portion of the pipeline;” and changing “the route of the pipeline without informing the state.”

Is a wee $4I5,000 fine a large enough deterrent from “a company standpoint?” No. I want him tried at the Hague.

Practical Information

The Court has had its seat in the Peace Palace in The Hague (Netherlands) since 1946. Its predecessor, the Permanent Court of International Justice, occupied from 1922 the same premises, made available to it by the Carnegie Foundation, which owns and administers the Peace Palace.

Built between 1907 and 1913 for the Permanent Court of Arbitration thanks to a donation from Andrew Carnegie, a Scottish-born industrialist who made his fortune in the United States, the Peace Palace is situated in seven hectares of parkland in the heart of the city.

Tried for Cultural genocide.

Cultural genocide is the systematic destruction of traditions, values, language, and other elements which make a one group of people distinct from other groups.

As late as the mid-twentieth century our planet was blessed with great cultural diversity with thousands of distinct languages, hundreds of unique religions, and thousands of variations in traditions and ways of life.

Of course not all traditions were worthy of admiration and respect. Cannibalism, infanticide, female circumcision, slavery, suppression of women, exploitation of children, ritual slaughter, and tribal warfare were among the cultural traditions practiced by some groups, the loss of which would not be mourned.

“Shoot for the stars, and if all you hit is the moon that’s not a bad thing,” I heard once. Impeach him, now. That, would in two words Tr*mp might comprehend, “be fair.”
